For those of you who may not know me, allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Warren Symens, and I’m a 4^th generation farmer/rancher/cattle feeder in northeast South Dakota, where I raise registered Limousin cattle with my extended family at Symens Brothers Limousin, and with my wife and 3 kids.

I founded Heritage Genetics, LLC, after a couple of years of thinking about how I could make it happen like I pictured in my head.  After watching and learning from the best in the cattle business my whole life, I decided, with the encouragement of those closest to me, that now was the time to pull the trigger on this new venture.  I’m not sure where it will go at this point, but I plan to take it one step at a time, to make sure I do right by potential customers, partners, and the cattle business as a whole.  There are a few things I do know for sure.

• I plan to do my level best to lay my own eyes on every bull I list.  There may be bulls out there that someone wants me to carry, but if I don’t feel it’s a bull that should be propagated, I won’t promote it.  It’s that simple.
• I’ll offer easy, online ordering and payment, together with on-time shipping.  This website will offer all of the available tools to evaluate bull selection.
• I envision a pronounced effort to make contact, through various means, with commercial cattle folks throughout the country, to promote the bulls listed here.  I believe in marketing bulls not only nation-wide, but also locally; a bull raised in a certain environment should be used by commercial cattlemen in that environment as well.
• Every listing will carry a signed contract by the bull owner(s) and Heritage Genetics, and will be backed by it’s respective breed association, including parent verification.  Every effort will be made to have every bull’s data genomically enhanced.
